The gallery presents an in-depth exploration of Vadnagar’s settlement, tracing its evolution through a period-based narrative spanning seven distinct periods. It highlights the city’s remarkable continuity and growth over time, beginning from Period 1 to Period 7. The display features a comprehensive collection of artefacts, scaled replicas, immersive installations, and detailed artworks that vividly depict the city’s structures, water management systems, streets, walls, excavation sites, and monuments.

A central focus of the exhibit is the evolution of Vadnagar’s fort wall and town planning. The narrative delves into the transformation of the fortifications and the layout of the settlement, illustrating the advancement and adaptive strategies through projections on models, replica interaction and wall graphics.

Original artefacts associated with town planning, such as tools, architectural fragments, and documentation of excavation findings, are thoughtfully integrated into period-specific displays.
